Wrap mood in the rice bowl

Me:als Kitchen is a rice bowl brand based in Jakarta. They believe that food is a source of happiness, especially the delicious one. In the business, they wanted to amplify this narrative more broadly to young urban audiences through a relevant visual approach.

The Story

The Challenge

Designing an identity, visual devices and content that can symbolize a good mood, deliciousness, cheerfulness, optimism and flexibility like young people. We explored many trends that are synonymous with young people and we found that emoji/emoticons are one trend that is timeless. So the idea is to apply and transform emoticons into designs, be they identities or other visual devices.
